A new monthly social event for our members, as well as any church
member, friend or guest, is a movie matinee on the third Tuesday
afternoon. This is a very informal event; several members of
Friendship
Circle extend their day to include the movie, while others are
welcome
to join that group at the theatre. Since this is a new venture (the
inaugural event was in November 2009)we are still evolving, but your
only risk is the cost of the movie!
Typically the movie will be at The Angelika (Mockingbird Station) or
possibly The Inwood (Lovers Lane near the Tollway) or Northpark's
AMC. All theatres can provide hearing devices at the box office and
carpools usually can be arranged if you just ask.
There are no dues and our only rule is NO TALKING during the show!
We hope this will become a fun and much anticipated event for those
who
enjoy movies and, also, help prepare those whose "Super Bowl" is the
Academy Awards!
